As a youth coach, you work with groups of young people who have encountered difficulties in their lives. You guide them within a treatment program consisting of activities, group sessions, and therapeutic conversations. You are primarily responsible for monitoring and guiding group dynamics during the activity program, as well as devising and implementing various interventions in collaboration with the treatment team. No two days are the same, requiring flexibility.
You work within a coaching team and contribute to the treatment program with a multidisciplinary team.

- Keep the group together, monitor and influence the energy within the group
- Motivate and stimulate young people
- Guide young people through individual contact moments in collaboration with a therapist
- Execute the activity program properly and according to schedule, taking group dynamics into account
- Act as the eyes and ears of the team
- Report and provide feedback on special circumstances
- Monitor safety and offer assistance in emergencies
- Ensure the cleanliness of the premises
What they ask
- A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Social Work, MWD
- Experience in organizing and leading activities
- Experience with group work
- Flexibility in working days, including holidays
