As a Project Engineer E&I, you will be part of an Engineering department and will be responsible for the technical elaboration and realization of various investment and improvement projects within the field of Electrical & Instrumentation. You will manage projects from A to Z, monitoring technical quality, progress, planning, and costs.
What you will do.
- You will manage E&I activities within projects, from engineering and study to execution, commissioning, and functional testing.
- You will ensure that projects are realized according to the established timing, scope, and budgets.
- You will organize and lead technical consultations with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, coordinating closely with the purchasing department.
- You will follow up on external partners and monitor the quality and progress of their work.
- You will coordinate the commissioning of new installations and equipment and ensure a correct handover to end-users and the local technical service.
- You will ensure that changes to installations and processes are carried out according to the applicable Management of Change procedure and will be responsible for the associated technical documentation.
- You will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including Production, Technical Service, Safety, and Quality.
Profile
- You are a driven professional with a practical and results-oriented mindset.
- You possess strong organizational and coordinating skills and know how to efficiently align different parties.
- You hold a master's degree in Industrial Sciences, Engineering Sciences, or an equivalent level through relevant experience.
- You have a broad technical interest and feel comfortable in a multidisciplinary project environment.
- You have relevant experience as a Project Engineer within E&I or a similar technical function.
- You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
- You have good knowledge of AREI and relevant regulations.
- You are familiar with ATEX directives and their application within industrial installations.
- Experience with or knowledge of SIL implementation is a plus.
