You make a difference for children, young people, and adults with a visual impairment combined with a developmental delay and/or multiple disabilities. You work in a multidisciplinary team where your expertise, commitment, and analytical perspective are central. What you will do.
- Investigate, treat, and guide clients within visual rehabilitation.
- Map the consequences of visual and additional impairments for daily functioning, development, and self-reliance.
- Formulate appropriate rehabilitation goals and draw up a rehabilitation plan in collaboration with the client, the multidisciplinary team, and the client's network.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, and update the rehabilitation plan as needed.
- Diagnosis and/or treatment takes place at the organization's location and ambulant in the client's own environment (home, day care center, school, institution).
- Provide training.
- Build and maintain networks.
- Organize meetings.
Profile
- Completed HBO degree in Occupational Therapy or another relevant HBO degree.
- Knowledge of research, treatment, guidance, and rehabilitation planning.
- Experience and/or affinity with the target group and complex case studies.
- Analytical, flexible, and able to tailor treatment pathways to the client and their environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Independent, client-focused, and a true team player.
- In possession of a driving license and a car for ambulant activities.
