HR & Business Operations Manager
In this new role, you will bring calm, overview, and structure within a consulting firm: an organization that is rapidly developing and growing significantly. You will ensure that processes run better, employees know where they stand, and partners have more room for other matters.
What you do
As an HR & Business Operations Manager, you will ensure that the organization is set up more professionally, clearly, and future-proof by providing calm, overview, and structure. You will work at the intersection of HR, processes, project organization, and business operations. In addition to policy, you will be involved in ensuring that agreements, processes, and improvements are truly implemented in practice. You will bring structure where much is currently done on intuition or ad hoc.
You will maintain an overview, identify areas for improvement, and address colleagues in a pleasant manner when necessary.
- Further professionalizing HR, such as development talks, salary development, onboarding, recruitment and selection, pension, bonuses, and occupational health and safety policy.
- Identifying changes in laws and regulations and translating them into policies and processes within the organization, for example, certifications.
- Capacity management: making it clear who is working on which projects, matching qualities, development, and availability.
- Ensuring fixed processes, such as project starts, project evaluations, meetings, and internal sessions.
- Setting up and improving processes in a business system, including those related to projects, planning, invoicing, and files.
- Monitoring invoicing terms, final invoicing, and compliance with the four-eyes principle.
- Safeguarding tender processes, agreements, and deadlines within a commercial, project-based environment.
Profile
- You have 5 to 10 years of work experience in a role within HR, business operations, organizational development, project organization, or process improvement.
- You are strong in organizing, structuring, and maintaining an overview, especially when many things are happening simultaneously.
- You have experience with project-based work and understand the importance of planning, capacity, budget, and progress.
- You have knowledge of HR processes and enjoy making policies practical and workable.
- You are proactive and dare to make decisions.
- You have natural authority and know how to get people on board without needing to be formal or hierarchical.
- Affinity with spatial planning, landscape, water, heritage, or the engineering world is a plus, but not a strict requirement.
Practical
- A one-year contract with the intention of permanent employment.
- 25 vacation days and time off in lieu.
- An NS Business Card or travel expense reimbursement.
- Working in a close-knit team with annual outings, pizza sessions, and plenty of foosball games.
