As a technical advisor at a public institution in the Netherlands, you ensure that construction technology, legislation, and practice align. You answer colleagues' questions, translate practice into policy or work instructions, thereby contributing to better and fairer living conditions.
What you do
With a focus on construction defects, you make technical information understandable for the organization.
- Answering (construction) technical questions from colleagues and the organization.
- Translating legislation and policy into practice, and vice versa.
- Participating in discussions with legal experts and session chairs.
- Supporting the team manager in the substantive guidance of the team.
- Conducting research at tenants' homes, possibly with a colleague.
Profile
- Good listener and easy to engage in conversations.
- Very approachable, even for colleagues without a technical background.
- Proactive and takes initiative.
- Sensitive to working in a political-administrative environment.
What they ask
- HBO diploma (higher professional education) in civil engineering, or business administration with a civil engineering background.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the "Besluit bouwwerken leefomgeving" (BBL) and building physics.
