A healthcare organization is looking for entrepreneurial and creative head chefs with a heart for seniors. The kitchen teams daily prepare quality meals tailored to the customer, using fresh, seasonal products.
What you will do.
- Organize meals for various departments as well as daily or festive menus.
- Responsible for ordering all food and beverages.
- Participate in cooking activities to coach team members.
- Ensure a good working atmosphere and organization by efficiently utilizing the qualities of team members.
- Integrate food activities within a facility organization: inventory management, HACCP, waste management, dishwashing procedures.
- Monitor procedures to deliver a high-quality and safe product.
- Develop impeccable service tailored to customer needs.
- Formulate optimization proposals in consultation with the facilities manager.
Profile
- Chef's diploma and at least 2 years of experience as a chef.
- Experience in a supervisory role in the kitchen.
- Experience in a large-scale kitchen is a plus.
- Affinity with trends in healthy and contemporary cuisine.
- Experience cooking for seniors and handling various dietary requirements.
- Flexible, highly organized, and takes initiative easily.
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP, food management techniques, ordering, and stock management.
- Bears responsibility for your own kitchen in all circumstances.
- Innovative and creative.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude, motivates kitchen staff.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Practical
- Part 1: screening based on CV and/or cover letter.
- Part 2: exploratory interview, followed by a second interview.
- Part 3: assessment.
