IT Manager

A cultural organization is looking for an IT Manager to join the Facilities department. You will report to the Facilities coordinator and be the central point of contact for IT within the organization. This role is at the intersection of infrastructure, support, and digitalization of operations.

What you will do.

  • Manage, ensure continuity, and further develop the IT environment
  • Ensure a stable, secure, and efficient digital working environment for employees
  • Support the organization in its further digitalization
  • Combine a hands-on approach with a future-oriented perspective
  • Work closely with all departments (events, stage technology, ticketing, communication, etc.)

  • Job-specific competencies:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, (system and) network management, applied informatics, or equivalent through relevant experience

  • Broad technical knowledge of networks, systems, cloud, security
  • Hands-on and service-oriented problem-solver
  • Analytical skills and ability to clearly translate technical issues for users
  • Methodical and structured way of working
  • Ability to work independently and set priorities
  • Good listening skills, communicative, and able to easily establish contacts (internal and external)
  • Interest in digitalization for process improvement is a significant asset
  • Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of English and French is a plus
  • Willingness to work occasionally on weekends or evenings

Practical aspects.

  • A handover period with the current IT manager is foreseen to ensure continuity
