Systemic Therapist Child & Youth

• Conduct intakes and diagnostics focused on systemic factors and interaction patterns.
• Treat families with diverse problems using systemic therapy, in collaboration with colleagues focusing on individual or parent-child treatment.
• Provide a systemic perspective during multidisciplinary consultations and offer advice to colleagues.
• Contribute to the discussion of simple and complex cases and actively participate in the professionalization of systemic work within the team.
• Learn by discussing cases, sharing knowledge, and translating new trends in systemic therapy into practice.
• Contribute to the further professionalization of systemic thinking and acting within the organization.
• Where necessary, consult with external parties (youth professionals, other care providers, or other stakeholders) to coordinate policy regarding the family.

What they ask

• Completed training as a systemic therapist with NVRG registration.
• Experience with diagnostics and treatment of children and young people with their (family) system within Youth Mental Health (Jeugd-GGZ).
• Independent, proactive, and possessing good communication skills.
• Knowledge of developmental psychology and psychopathology, and staying informed about the latest treatment insights in systemic therapy.
• SKJ and/or BIG registration is a plus.
• Combine personal initiative with team spirit: work independently but feel at home in a multidisciplinary team and maintain an eye for quality.
