An HR specialist for flexible and temporary IT staffing is looking for a Project Manager for one of their clients in the Brussels region. This client operates in the social secretariat sector. The position can be filled with either a permanent or a freelance contract.
What you do
- Lead and monitor software development projects within the social secretariat sector, from analysis to delivery
- Translate business needs and changes in social legislation into concrete software adaptations
- Coordinate developers, analysts, and other stakeholders, and monitor project planning, quality
- Apply Agile and other project methodologies, depending on project needs
- Proactively solve project problems and monitor risks and bottlenecks
- Align with stakeholders on project progress and delivery
What they ask
- Experience as a Project Leader in IT and/or software development projects
- Experience within the HR/payroll sector or knowledge of social legislation is a must
- Strong in stakeholder management and communication; this is more important than in-depth technical expertise
- Able to switch smoothly between business, development, and infrastructure teams
- Able to bring structure, overview, and priorities into an environment that is not always fully mature
- Familiar with Agile and other project methodologies
- Hands-on, takes initiative, and thinks pragmatically
- Certifications are not a requirement; personality and approach take precedence
- Fluent in both Dutch and French
