As an Electrical Engineer at a specialized company, you will work on the design and technical elaboration of electrical installations within our projects. You translate technical requirements and customer wishes into clear designs and diagrams and ensure that these are technically correct and comply with applicable standards and safety regulations. You are part of the project team and work closely with colleagues from various disciplines.
During a project, you keep the technical documentation in order, assess changes, and actively contribute to finding the best technical solution. You won't just be behind your screen. You will interact with colleagues, clients, and suppliers and, from your field of expertise, you will be an important technical sparring partner within the project.
What you do
- Design and elaborate electrical and mechanical diagrams for LV and MV installations
- Read, assess, and elaborate technical drawings and design plans
- Perform (among other things) cable and power calculations
- Analyze change requests and determine their implications for the technical solution
- Monitor and update diagrams, index plans, and technical project documentation
- Check whether designs comply with relevant standards and safety regulations
- Provide technical support to the engineering and project team
- Answer technical questions from clients
- Coordinate with colleagues, clients
What they ask You have a solid electrical engineering foundation, work accurately, and are energized by solving technical problems. You can work independently, but you also enjoy collaborating with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- A completed technical education, preferably in Electrical Engineering/Energy Technology
- Knowledge of electrical installations and the ability to read and assess electrical diagrams
- Knowledge of drawing programs such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SEE Electrical, and/or E-plan
- Knowledge of Caneco is a plus
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
- An analytical, practical, and solution-oriented way of working
- Good communication skills
- Eye for quality and safety
- VCA-basic or the willingness to obtain it
Experience in low and medium voltage is, of course, important. But at least as important is that you are technically curious and want to develop further in this field.
