This voluntary board position is for someone who wants to contribute to a foundation dedicated to animals that often have nowhere else to go. The foundation works with dogs and cats with complex behavioral problems and animals with a difficult past.

- As treasurer, you are part of the board and contribute to the financial health of the foundation, maintain an overview, assist with financial decisions, and contribute to a sustainable foundation.
- Experience or affinity with fundraising, fund management, subsidies, donors, sponsorship relations, or other forms of financial support for charities is desired.
What You Will Do.
- Contribute to financial overview and financial structure within the foundation.
- Participate in discussions about budgets, financial planning, and priorities.
- Oversee income, expenses, and financial health.
- Prepare or review financial reports.
- Advise on fundraising, subsidies, sponsorship, and donor policy.
- Help set up or improve applications for funds and grant providers.
- Contribute to discussions about structural income streams for the foundation.
- Ensure that financial decisions align with the mission, vision, and values of the foundation.
- Actively contribute to the further professionalization and growth of the foundation.
Profile
- Sincerely connected to animal welfare and the foundation's mission.
- Experience with financial management, fundraising, subsidies, sponsorship, non-profit finance, or strategic growth.
- Proactive in thinking along and taking responsibility.
- Able to create an overview and think both practically and strategically.
- Work professionally, honestly, and carefully.
- Understand that impact also requires financial strength.
- Enjoy making a meaningful contribution to an ambitious organization alongside work or other activities.
- Get energy from building, improving, and professionalizing.
- Experience as a treasurer, financial advisor, controller, accountant, fundraiser, subsidy advisor, entrepreneur, or board member is valuable.
