As a Network Engineer with a technical reference role, you will be in charge of all network infrastructures. You will intervene at different stages of technical productions related to network affairs and will have a technical reference role for the Directorate. You will join the Technical and Information Systems Directorate, more precisely the Digital and Cybersecurity Department. You will report to the head of SI Administration.
Your missions will be articulated around Build & Run activities of the Switching / Routing / Security (Firewall) environment.
What you do
Build (design and evolution):
- Design and evolve LAN/WAN architectures, remote client access, and remote sites
- Draft technical documentation (architecture files, exploitation files, integration files, network park management)
- Ensure the security and hardening of equipment
- Participate in the costing of new architectures (hardware and labor)
- Perform technical watch in collaboration with suppliers
- Research automation avenues (e.g., backup)
MCO (Maintenance and Operations):
- Ensure operational maintenance (MCO): diagnosis, optimization, lifecycle management (hardware, licenses), adaptation of routing and filtering rules, backup
- Ensure security maintenance (MCS): version upgrades, encryption evolution, implementation of security improvement plans
Business:
- Participate in pre-sales and study phases to define and design network infrastructures within the framework of client projects
Profile
- You are a graduate with an engineering degree, Bac+5, and you have more than 5 years of experience in LAN/WAN network engineering and production.
What they ask
- Mastery of LAN, WAN, remote access, and Internet access architectures
- Expertise in switching, notably Cisco (CCSA certification appreciated)
- Knowledge of several firewall technologies (e.g., Fortigate, Stormshield, PaloAlto, Checkpoint)
- Strong sensitivity to cybersecurity in regulated environments, and application of hardening best practices
- Knowledge of IGI1300, II901 standards and ANSSI, DGA-MI, NIST guides is a plus.
- The position is subject to obtaining a security clearance.
