An educational institution is looking for a Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) teacher for students in the International Transition Class (ISK). The goal is to teach non-Dutch speaking students the Dutch language and prepare them for Dutch society and further education.
What you will do.
- Provide Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) lessons.
- Teach students the Dutch language, culture, norms, and values of their new home country.
- Emphasize practical skills such as speaking, reading, and writing.
- Offer a safe and supportive environment for students' development and growth.
- Encourage students to build self-confidence and improve their language proficiency.
Profile
- Passion for new Dutch residents aged 12-20.
- Flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic environment with varying numbers of young people, cultural backgrounds, and personal stories.
- Second-degree teacher or holding a PABO diploma.
- Completed NT2 training, or willing to obtain it.
- Willing to go the extra mile for students' development.
