A challenging assignment with a socially relevant organization focused on young people.
What you do
- You further develop a new multidisciplinary team of approximately 15 employees and provide it with direction, structure, and energy.
- You coach, inspire, and support experts in communication, youth policy, digitalization, innovation, and product development.
- You focus on team building and connect experienced employees and new colleagues into a cohesive team.
- You create a safe, open, and progressive team culture where people challenge and strengthen each other.
- You translate the youth strategy into clear plans, priorities, and measurable actions.
- You manage results in a targeted manner using KPIs, resource management, and budget monitoring.
- You guide the team through change and ensure that new working methods are truly implemented in practice.
- You work closely with operational youth initiatives to improve the experience of young people and optimize processes.
- You build bridges and partnerships with other departments, internal entities, and external partners.
- You monitor the coherence between projects, communication, and innovation, so that everything has a tangible impact on young people.
- You report to the youth director and provide backup for the press officer during holiday periods.
Profile
- You are an experienced team leader and natural coach with a strong track record in people management.
- You have demonstrable experience in team building and change management, preferably in a context of merger or restructuring.
- You are warm and connecting, but at the same time results-oriented and clear in setting priorities.
- You possess strategic thinking skills and easily translate vision into concrete action.
- You have experience working with KPIs and budget monitoring.
- You understand the world of young people and spontaneously think from their needs and barriers.
- You are a bridge builder who enjoys collaborating across departments and organizations.
- You have a hunger for innovation and social impact.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch, both orally and in writing.
- Required studies: Academic bachelor, Academic bachelor: Communication and information.
- Work experience: At least 5 years of experience.
- Driving license: B cars.
