Develop and execute all communication activities for the realization of a large infrastructure project.
- An important goal of this strategy is to achieve a significant reduction in traffic volume on the main and underlying road networks during the project's hindrance windows.
What you will do.
- Develop, describe, monitor, promote, and execute the multi-year communication strategy for the project.
- Prepare, maintain, and execute the communication plan.
- Commission and coordinate newsletters and other communication tools.
- (Commission) Set up and manage intranet/internet sites and social media.
- Perform media analysis and prepare responses for various media in collaboration with internal departments and project management.
- Contribute to visual reports and 3D animations.
- Develop and (commission) create new communication tools based on the communication strategy.
- Coordinate activities and contract management of external communication agencies.
- Contribute to organizing information meetings for stakeholders.
- Evaluate and monitor communication effects and adjust the communication strategy and tools accordingly.
- Collaborate with and manage communication contractors.
- Archive relevant communication documents and expressions.
- Recruit and manage communication advisors for the project.
- Set up and logistically organize meetings, open days, excursions, work visits, assemblies.
- Professional design and implementation of participation, consultation, information, and other types of meetings.
- Organize the design and printing of reports.
- Act as the press contact within the project organization (first-line responsibility lies with the Communication & Strategy department of the public organization).
- Consult and collaborate with communication advisors from involved stakeholders, such as municipalities and regional accessibility initiatives.
Profile
- You will periodically coordinate and collaborate with the environment cluster manager, project manager, and department in performing media analysis and preparing responses for various media.
- You will collaborate with regional accessibility initiatives and communication staff from other stakeholders.
- You will consult and collaborate with communication advisors from involved stakeholders, such as municipalities and regional accessibility initiatives.
What they ask
- Demonstrable experience in road construction projects with comparable tasks/responsibilities and complexities, gained in the last 5 years.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the realization of civil projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in communication advisory within a large government organization.
Preferences.
- Developing and implementing a communication strategy and/or plan within a public water and infrastructure agency or similar.
- Experience working with communication framework contracts within a public water and infrastructure agency.
- Experience managing advisors within a team.
