DevOps and Azure Engineer

The assignment involves a greenfield implementation project to build a modern Azure cloud platform from the ground up.

• You will play a key role in designing, automating, and deploying cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• You will implement DevOps best practices to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions.

What you will do.

• Design, build, and implement a greenfield Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement cloud governance, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.

What they ask

• Proven experience as a DevOps or Azure Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, Entra ID, cloud security, and monitoring.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end RBAC implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and access governance principles.
• Experience working in Active Directory environments (governance rather than administration).
• Ability to engage and challenge business stakeholders to define effective role models and access structures.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
