Low and Medium Voltage Technician

A specialized company is working hard to strengthen energy grids to prepare them for the future. This is done with a neighborhood-oriented approach, where entire neighborhoods are provided with a future-proof electricity grid in a short time. Every week, a street is switched to the new grid.

What you will do.

  • Install, maintain, and adapt medium and low voltage installations, distribution networks, and low voltage networks.
  • Ensure everything is correctly connected and maintained.
  • Meticulously perform network assemblies, final connections, and other work on newly installed networks.
  • Collaborate with a colleague for efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Deliver quality work and ensure a reliable energy supply.
  • Install and furnish installations in and around distribution stations.
  • Assemble new low and medium voltage networks.
  • Maintain and repair existing networks.
  • Report on completed work.
  • Opportunity to grow from Monteur VP LS to Monteur VP MS through internal training.

What they ask

  • BEI-MS and/or LS certification with VP designation and other professional diplomas.
  • A completed MBO-3 education.
  • Experience in underground infrastructure technology as an E-fitter.
  • A driver's license.
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.
  • VCA-VOL certificate (or willingness to obtain it).

Practical

  • A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
  • 25 vacation days and 13 ATV days.
  • Access to a laptop, phone, and a personal work van equipped with all necessary materials and tools.
