A municipal organization is facing a significant transition within the Work & Income department. As of January 1, 2027, a specific system will no longer be accessible. To ensure the continuity of services, efforts are being made to temporarily and structurally set up processes within the existing systems and the case management system. This translates into two projects: Continuity after system change and Case-oriented work.
After the completion of the first project, the professional will be deployed for a structural setup of processes. The result of the assignment is a controlled transition to a workable situation without the old system, with guaranteed continuity of services and a high-quality implementation of policy within Work & Income.
What you do
- Compare, validate, and prioritize processes
- Guide workshops and assist process owners with complete descriptions
- Make dependencies visible between systems, case management system, archiving
- Monitor planning, testing, implementation, risks
- Organize knowledge transfer and handover to management
- Lead the project for the continuity of services within Work & Income after the discontinuation of the old system
- Ensure a controlled transition to a workable situation, where services continue and policy is implemented with high quality
- Work on the temporary setup of processes within the existing systems and the case management system
- The assignment includes, among other things, making history consultable, transferring open cases and actions, and setting up new cases in a workable manner
- Ensure that necessary processing, testing, instructions, and support are arranged
- Periodically report on progress, risks, and results to the Social Policy team manager, in conjunction with the Care and Support team
- Collaborate closely with the project for the structural setup of processes, quality, implementation

- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of MBO-4 level
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a quality officer or in a comparable role within a municipal organization

- Demonstrable work experience as a project leader within a municipal organization
- Demonstrable work experience with system implementations, case management systems, and/or case-oriented work within a municipal organization
- Demonstrable work experience with process optimization and/or quality improvement within the municipal social domain, where complex information has been analyzed and translated into concrete improvement measures, choices, or implementation proposals
