The client is a scale-up operating in the energy transition sector with a presence across multiple European countries and a diverse team of several hundred people.
- You will lead two product-focused squads: one responsible for the customer-facing app, and one focused on payments and revenue systems in a complex, multi-currency European market.
- This is primarily a people leadership role. Your greatest impact will come from coaching engineers at all levels, building individual development plans, evolving ways of working, and fostering a culture of trust, quality, and psychological safety.
- Beyond your squads, you will contribute to broader engineering initiatives including hiring practices, responsible AI adoption, and cross-team alignment.
Profile
- You are a seasoned Engineering Manager with a solid engineering background and a proven track record of growing the people around you.
- You know how to bridge technical trade-offs and business strategy, and you build inclusive, high-performing teams.

- 5+ years as a Software Engineer
- 5+ years in a formal EM role with direct people responsibility
- Strong communicator who can align Product, Design, and Data functions
- Fluent in English
