This growing organization starts more projects than it finishes. Your role is to successfully complete projects, both ongoing and new. You determine when a project is truly finished: when a working process is implemented and a colleague takes over responsibility. Afterwards, you close the project and move on to the next. The size of the project, large or small, makes no difference to you. This role is new and offers the opportunity to shape it.
What you do
Your projects cut across the organization and affect various departments such as logistics, HR, finance, and IT. A selection of current projects:
- Internationalization: bringing new countries live, including VAT and customs regulations, and establishing a correct shipping strategy per country.
- Warehouse automation: a substantial automation project combining technology, construction, and logistics, including adjustments to the building.
- Relocation: from initial preparation to full operational status, including construction planning.
- Content and product data: optimizing the chain from PIM via feeds to webshops, including establishing working agreements and ownership for each link.
- Knowledge documentation: capturing, documenting, and assigning ownership of existing workflows to ensure knowledge retention within the organization.
Profile
- Minimum of five years of experience independently leading multiple projects from start to finish.
- Experience on the client side, not solely as a supplier or agency.
- Comfortable in organizations where not everything is yet structured, and where you can thrive.
- Proven experience in describing and transferring processes.
- You can challenge management members and suppliers, and persevere when things get stuck.
- You approach both a relocation and a small process with the same energy.
- You switch effortlessly between Dutch and English.
Preferences.
- Experience with e-commerce or retail logistics.
- Experience with international rollout of webshops.
- Experience with warehouse and real estate projects.
