You will work in a flexible pool within a care organization that provides a safe and meaningful environment for children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual disabilities, based on an anthroposophical philosophy. You will support clients at various residential and day activity locations within this community. The organization guides clients with diverse support needs, including:
- Severe Multiple Intellectual Disabilities (EVMB)
- Challenging Behavior (MVG)
- Mild Intellectual Disabilities (LVB)
What you will do. As a caregiver, you will support clients in their daily lives and encourage them to remain as independent as possible. Your tasks will include:
- guiding children, adolescents, or adults in daily life
- supporting personal care and ADL (Activities of Daily Living) as needed
- providing structure, clarity
- guiding during living, learning, working, or day activities
- stimulating development, independence, and social skills
- collaborating with family, colleagues, and other involved disciplines
- reporting and contributing to care plans
Profile
- Relevant MBO diploma level 3 or higher (Social Care, SPW, Nursing, Care IG or similar)
- Affinity with people with intellectual disabilities
- At least six months of practical experience, for example through work or internship
- Ability to work independently and easily switch between different locations
