A report of domestic violence or child abuse requires diligence, sharpness, and sometimes immediate action. An organization is assembling a temporary waiting list team of professionals who can independently and carefully handle outstanding cases. The team consists of junior and senior professionals who collectively reduce backlogs within Advice, Reporting, and Assessment, and follow-up services.
You assess signs of unsafety, conduct interviews and investigations, and determine the necessary next steps to restore the safety of those involved.
What you do
As a Family Safety Professional, you independently handle cases within applicable laws and regulations, action protocols, and internal work processes. Your tasks include:
- Performing outstanding safety assessments
- Assessing signs of acute and structural unsafety
- Investigating domestic violence, child abuse, and other forms of unsafety within dependency relationships
- Performing tasks within Conditions and Follow-up or Investigation
- Establishing safety conditions and concrete safety agreements
- Conducting interviews with stakeholders, professionals, and chain partners
- Collecting, analyzing, and carefully weighing information from various sources
- Drafting clear and legally verifiable reports
- Transferring and finalizing cases according to applicable work processes
- Collaborating with municipalities, aid organizations, police, justice, education, and care partners
What they ask
- A completed education at a minimum of HBO level (higher professional education) in Orthopedagogics, Developmental Psychology, Youth Care, Social Work, Pedagogy, or a similar field
- A valid SKJ registration
- The SKJ registration number and its validity period must be clearly stated in your CV
- The ability to independently assess complex safety issues and document them carefully
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and chain partners
