Postdoctoral Researcher

This research project focuses on young people aged 16 to 25.

- You will work in an interdisciplinary team with expertise in pediatrics, pulmonology, prevention, behavioral change, and health promotion.
- Close collaboration with young people, healthcare professionals, and societal partners.

- Active role in the setup and execution of the research.
- Conduct literature review.
- Organize and analyze interviews with young people and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development of a youth-specific intervention.
- Support the execution of the effect study and the clinical sub-study.
- Maintain contacts with participants and collaboration partners.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative research data.
- Make a significant contribution to project meetings, scientific publications, presentations, and knowledge sharing.
- Actively participate in the research group, with opportunities for involvement in education.

- Completed university Master's degree (WO) in Health Sciences, Medicine, Health Psychology, Biomedical Sciences, or a similar relevant field (by January 1, 2027, at the latest).
- Experience and/or interest in conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research (e.g., conducting interviews, questionnaire research, and collecting and analyzing research data).
- Knowledge of statistical methods and experience with quantitative data analyses using statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, or similar programs).
- Demonstrable affinity with lifestyle, prevention, youth health, and behavioral change.
- Good command of Dutch and English at a minimum C1 level (CEFR), both orally and in writing.
