As a home care nurse, no day is the same. You work largely independently, but are part of a small, close-knit team that collaborates to provide the best daily care in the neighborhood. Every client has a different familiar home environment, different life stories, and different wishes and needs – you adapt your care accordingly.
What you do
- You work independently in the neighborhood, but are part of a close-knit home care team
- You work with a smartphone to view your route and keep reports updated in the care file
- You are responsible for coordinating the nursing process around clients
- You draw up care plans that form the basis of care, nursing
- You have knowledge of relevant guidelines and procedures and perform risky and reserved actions
- You guide interns, students
- You report specifics in the file and make proposals based on identified areas for improvement
Profile
- You have an MBO level 4 Nursing diploma and are BIG-registered
- You enjoy working independently and appreciate visiting clients at home
- You are eager to learn, listen well, are open to feedback, and take initiative
- You have no problem working both during the day and in the evening: care is available 24/7
Practical
- You receive your own phone and tablet from the healthcare organization
- The teams work from a fixed location and start their routes there
- Easily accessible by public transport, bicycle
- Parking is free
