We are looking for a Facility Project Manager for a governmental organization. The activities consist of four interconnected components: managing renovation and temporary housing, directing and structuring the facility organization, contract and supplier management, and preparing the future facility organization.
What you do
- Develop integrated project plans and monitor planning, milestones, and risks related to renovations and temporary housing
- Coordinate department relocations, align with stakeholders, and set up temporary workspaces
- Temporarily manage facility coordination, prioritize tasks, and improve work processes
- Coordinate and review ongoing contracts, and establish temporary contracts suitable for the transition period
- Monitor costs and prevent fragmentation
- Translate the current facility organization into a future-proof facility organization
- Prepare decision-making and set up processes and tenders
The assignment is successful if.
- The renovation and temporary housing have been executed according to plan
- The facility organization is structured
- Contract management is optimized
- A concrete vision for the future has been delivered
What they ask
- HBO+/WO (higher professional education/university) work and thinking level
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management and project leadership within a governmental organization
- Demonstrable experience with housing, relocation, or renovation projects
- Experience within (semi-)governmental or complex organizations
- Experience with contract and supplier management
