For a specialized organization within occupational health services, we are looking for an ANIOS Occupational Medicine. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the healthy and sustainable employability of working people in the Netherlands. You will guide employees during their recovery, provide medical advice to both employees and employers, and contribute to prevention and health policy.
There is ample room for personal development, with the possibility, after one year of work experience in occupational medicine, to progress to the occupational physician training. The position offers a good work-life balance, without evening, night, or weekend shifts.
What you will do.
- Conducting consultations and guiding employees during their recovery process.
- Providing medical-substantive advice on absenteeism and sustainable employability to employees and employers.
- Assessing work capacity and formulating appropriate advice within the framework of the Wet verbetering poortwachter (Gatekeeper Improvement Act).
- Collaborating with fellow physicians, case managers, and other disciplines within the team.
- Contributing to preventive activities, including PAGO/PMO programs and RI&E (Risk Inventory & Evaluation) issues.
- Identifying health risks and advising on measures to prevent absenteeism.
- Participating in coaching, training, and educational activities aimed at further professional development.
Profile
You are a physician who enjoys performing socially relevant work and draws energy from guiding people towards a sustainable return to work. You can easily switch between different situations and know how to combine medical expertise with clear communication.
