Quality Officer Participation Act

As a quality officer, you contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and an integrated approach within the social domain. You coach colleagues, connect implementation and policy, and initiate quality improvements. This contributes to a social and future-proof policy, where residents receive appropriate support.

The department is responsible for the implementation of laws and regulations in the social domain, such as the Participation Act, income support, debt assistance, integration, Wmo, Youth Act, and Compulsory Education Act. The staff office ensures internal processes and the quality of services. You act as a linchpin between policy and implementation, with a people-centric approach. The team seeks expertise in the Participation Act, special assistance, and social regulations.

What you do

  • Coach and help colleagues develop on substantive and procedural issues;
  • Strengthen the connection between policy and implementation by contributing to policy developments and translating signals from implementation into concrete improvement proposals;
  • Initiate quality improvement and advise on smarter and more efficient processes, with an eye for feasibility and impact;
  • Perform quality controls and optimize processes, always focusing on the citizen. A project leader role is possible;
  • Contribute to internal and external accountability by generating and reviewing management and administrative information;
  • Play an important role in objection cases, ensuring decisions are well-founded and fair.

What they ask

  • HBO work and thinking level and relevant experience in quality assurance within the social domain;
  • Solid knowledge and experience with the Participation Act and income support schemes (hard requirement);
  • Experience with quality improvement and process optimization within the social domain;
  • Good coaching skills.
