This assignment is within a public educational institution, focused on training and knowledge center for the Dutch police. The institution meets the educational demand of the police and third parties. Within a national program for the implementation of a new legal code, the institution has been asked to take the lead role in realizing the learning objective. Within this sub-program, knowledge applications, including a knowledge base and learning tools (profchecks), need to be further developed.
What you will do. As a developer, you are responsible for the continuous development of the knowledge applications, ensuring that they are:
- Ready for use in the learning process within further training.
- Knowledge is available timely, correctly, clearly, and consistently.
- Knowledge can be efficiently managed, updated, and reused, and support is provided for knowledge actualization.
- Ready for use for maintaining previously learned knowledge and counteracting the forgetting curve.
Within a scrum team, you are independently responsible for the development of the profchecks platform and the knowledge base. You analyze and co-design technical solutions based on user stories and features. You contribute to new architectural and software solutions, where you are able to think outside the box and convert ideas into sustainably working solutions. As a full-stack developer, you are therefore jointly responsible for the entire process from specification to software rollout in production.
