As an HR consultant, you work in-house with a client and are the eyes and ears on the shop floor. You work in an environment where the pace is high and the stakes are sometimes significant. This means you will occasionally encounter critical questions, resistance, or differing expectations from the workforce. With a strong personality, clear communication, and a people-oriented approach, you know how to engage employees in a pleasant way and keep the conversation positive.
You will join a team where hard work, collaboration, and mutual support are central. Your manager is social, involved, and someone who likes to roll up their sleeves. What you do
- You walk a round, chat with flexible employees, and ensure that a new colleague feels immediately welcome
- You answer questions about contracts, planning
- You process contracts and keep personnel files up-to-date
- You ensure that all HR processes run smoothly behind the scenes, from personnel changes to absence registrations
- You coordinate with team leaders, schedule interviews with new candidates, and ensure staffing remains in order
- You respond quickly to sick reports or unexpected peaks and immediately provide a suitable solution
- You play an active role in attracting new colleagues, giving tours, and answering candidate questions
What they ask
- A proactive HR consultant who thrives in a varied role and feels at home in a dynamic work environment
- MBO 4 level of thinking and working, preferably in HRM, Human Resource Management, or a comparable education
- Good command of both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with onboarding, personnel administration, or contract management is a plus
- Driving license B and own transport
- A hands-on mentality, a strong sense of responsibility, and the drive to get things done
