Personal Supervisor

What you will do. As a personal supervisor, you guide and treat clients of all ages who have difficulty maintaining themselves in their living environment. You help them in a methodical and goal-oriented way to function as independently as possible and participate in society. Your activities include:

  • Inventorying the help request and needs of clients and their environment.
  • Drawing up and implementing treatment plans.
  • Providing guidance, advice, and shelter, also in crisis situations.
  • Supporting participants and mediating conflicts.
  • Organizing individual and group-oriented activities that contribute to safety and well-being.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, agencies, and organizations to provide the best care.
  • Guiding and coaching colleagues, interns, and volunteers.

Profile

You are someone who is firm, strong in communication, and can switch well in difficult situations. You have an eye for the client and their environment and know how to deal with complex problems in a creative and solution-oriented way. Furthermore, you bring:

  • A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree (e.g., SPH, Social Work, or Pedagogy).
  • Affinity and at least 1 year of experience in guiding clients with multi-problem issues, such as psychiatric problems, addiction, or a mild intellectual disability (LVB).
  • Knowledge of socio-scientific theories, system theories, and relevant methodologies.
  • Experience in drawing up and implementing treatment plans.
  • Strong social, oral, and written skills.
  • Stress resistance and improvisation skills, especially in crisis situations.
  • Good communication and writing skills for drafting reports and plans.
  • Stress-resistant and flexible, with the ability to respond adequately in crisis situations.
  • You are a Christian and can explain what this means to you.
