What you will do. As a researcher/advisor at an organization, you will combine research with advice. You will focus specifically on the theme of work & informal care and will be responsible for a specific panel. You will investigate what is happening, translate your insights into advice, and actively engage in discussions with stakeholders.
- Determine research questions and develop research designs.
- Utilize surveys and other research methods and conduct independent research.
- Actively engage with employers, trade unions, industry associations, and other relevant organizations to share knowledge, gather needs, and collaborate on solutions.
- Advise colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders based on your substantive expertise.
- Identify opportunities to further highlight research results and the organization's knowledge and strengthen its advocacy.
- Ensure that the panel remains effectively usable and that research methods and tools are in order.
- Monitor the planning, quality, and budget of your research.
Profile
You know how to connect research and advice. Perhaps you are originally a researcher with strong advisory skills. Or you are an an advisor with a solid research background. You can quickly grasp complex information and translate it clearly into advice or concrete action. You easily approach stakeholders and know how to engage people in a pleasant and convincing manner.
- Completed HBO or university education, for example in social sciences, policy, or research.
- Experience with applied research and/or advising.
- Able to independently set up, execute, and analyze research.
- Knowledge of or clear affinity with Work & informal care.
- Works accurately and structured, independently, and actively seeks collaboration.
