The Social District Team supports residents with questions regarding growing up, parenting, well-being, participation, and existential security. The organization works according to a systemic method called 'Samenspel' (Interplay), which looks not only at a resident's specific request but at the whole person, family, network, and their interrelationships. You will work in a small, city-wide team of specialists and support various district teams.
Together with the 'Samenspel' focal point, you will contribute to the further development, embedding, and evolution of this working method. You will collaborate closely with social workers, behavioral scientists, GZ psychologists, system therapists, team leaders, and other specialists.
What you will do. As a system therapist, you help professionals to view families, networks, and collaborations from a systemic perspective. You are not a traditional therapist but focus on strengthening professionals, teams, and working methods. Your primary task is to promote systemic craftsmanship and guide the learning process within teams. You support professionals with casework and contribute to a learning organization.
You also view the team you support as a system, making patterns in collaboration, communication, and team dynamics visible and discussable. You advise management and work across domains to connect different areas of life and professional fields.
Your responsibilities include:

- contributing to integral and systemic analyses
- supporting social workers and other professionals
- joining conversations with residents when necessary
- contributing ideas for appropriate system-oriented interventions
- Coaching and development of professionals
- coaching employees on complex casework
- guiding learning and development processes
- providing knowledge transfer and professional development
- supporting team leaders in creating a learning environment
- Quality development and assurance
- identifying bottlenecks in implementation
- advising on quality improvements
- contributing to the further development of the working method
- supporting a uniform application of systemic work within the organization
- Specialist deployment with residents
- briefly joining families or systems when necessary to make stuck patterns visible and create movement, usually supplementary to the work of the involved professional.
Profile
You are an expert and accessible professional who inspires others and helps them in their development. You enjoy unraveling complex situations and have an eye for what is happening beneath the surface.
Additionally:
- you are a registered system therapist (NVRG)
- you preferably have an SKJ and/or BIG registration
- you have experience with complex youth and family issues
- you are able to coach and guide professionals
- you move easily between case, team, and organizational levels
- you possess excellent advisory skills and organizational sensitivity
- you are aware of differences in background and culture and consciously take them into account in your work (cultural sensitivity)
