This assignment focuses on strengthening resilience and business continuity within a government organization. Various interconnected tasks and projects are being carried out in the areas of resilience, business continuity, risk management, information security, physical security, and crisis management. The focus is on creating coherence and exercising integral control over these developments.
What you will do.
- Establish coherence and exercise integral control over developments related to resilience, business continuity, risk management, information and physical security, and crisis management.
- Connect various projects, disciplines, and involved organizational units.
- Manage the coherence, progress, and prioritization of activities.
- Guide the transition from an incidental setup to a structural organizational embedding of resilience and business continuity.
- Collaborate closely with management teams, process owners, and involved disciplines.
- Ensure that research, policies, and plans are translated into administrative decision-making, concrete measures, and implementation.
- Organize collaboration between process owners, content experts, management, and involved disciplines, and monitor progress, ownership, and results.

What they ask
- Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in business administration, public administration, integral safety science, crisis management, risk management, or a comparable field.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience with integral project or program steering, senior advisory, or organizational development within complex organizations, preferably within a government organization.
- Demonstrable experience with:
- program management and integral project steering;
- business continuity management (BCM/BCMS);
- resilience and continuity issues;
- Business Impact Analyses (BIA), threat and risk analyses;
- continuity strategies and continuity measures;
- risk management;
- governance, roles, responsibilities, and organizational structure;
- connecting different disciplines and organizational units;

- Demonstrable experience with advising and collaborating within a political-administrative or complex organizational environment and able to switch between strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
- Excellent oral and written advisory skills and able to translate complex issues into clear advice, decision proposals, and concrete actions.

- Experience within a public or vital organization.
- Demonstrable experience within a water board, safety region, municipality, province, national government, implementing organization, or vital organization.
- Advisory, connecting, and implementation skills.
- Demonstrable experience with advising management and the board, connecting different disciplines, and effectively developing, delivering, and implementing policy, organizational, and implementation products.
