A social purpose real estate cooperative develops real estate projects aimed at promoting access to quality and affordable housing. To strengthen its team, a real estate project manager is sought. The position will primarily focus on managing a significant real estate project, aiming to renovate a building to create housing units and an office space.
What you do
- Ensure overall monitoring of the real estate project.
- Coordinate relations with architects, design offices, contractors, and various stakeholders.
- Monitor studies and documents required for the start of works.
- Prepare and follow public procurement procedures.
- Ensure administrative, financial, and operational monitoring of the construction site.
- Participate in site meetings and ensure follow-up of decisions.
- Ensure compliance with the schedule, budget, and project objectives.
- Provide regular reporting to the cooperative's bodies.
- Prepare the commissioning of the housing units and office space.
- Participate in the development of new real estate projects.
- Identify and analyze new real estate opportunities.
- Ensure monitoring of the existing real estate portfolio.
Profile
- Autonomous, organized, rigorous, and possessing good interpersonal skills.
- Capable of coordinating various stakeholders and monitoring a project across its administrative, technical, and financial dimensions.
- Higher education or equivalent experience.
- Experience in project management or coordination.
- Experience in real estate, construction, or renovation is an asset.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to follow a budget and schedule.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of common computer tools.
- Ability to work autonomously within a small structure.
- Interest in issues related to housing and the social economy.
- Driving license B and a personal vehicle.
