Sports Assistant After School Care
This role is within an after-school care organization where you inspire children to move, discover, and try new things. You will have ample opportunity to use your enthusiasm.
What you do
- Devise and organize sports activities for children after school.
- Activities range from active games on the sports field, romping and building, to dancing or surprising indoor movement activities.
- Freedom to constantly invent new activities, considering the age, interests of the children, and the weather.
- Inspire children to participate, including those who are less inclined to move on their own.
- Help children discover which activities suit them and how fun it is to try something new.
Profile
- You enjoy movement and have a good sense of what excites children.
- You continuously come up with new activities.
- A pedagogical diploma is not strictly necessary; a qualifying diploma in sports, education, or leisure is also acceptable.
- You meet the Dutch language requirement 3F or B2.
- You possess a VOG (Certificate of Conduct) for Childcare or one can be requested without objection.
Team. You will work with a diverse team of Pedagogical Staff. You will complement each other and together ensure a pleasant and relaxed afternoon for the children. This position can be combined with morning work, for example, as a trainer, coach, or teaching assistant.
