Become the Logistics Engine of healthcare within a government organization. You will play a crucial role in supporting units, both nationally and internationally. As a Material Logistics Specialist, you are the linchpin between the operational needs of a logistics center and the broader organizational processes. You ensure that the medical, pharmaceutical, and physiotherapeutic support for units is always guaranteed.
You advise and support management in the areas of purchasing, acquisition, disposal (IVA), and system and chain logistics. You look beyond daily operations: you analyze change proposals, translate process models into practice (via ARIS and SAP), and represent the logistics center in important national working groups. Additionally, you will take on the role of mentor and leader by functionally managing Senior employees (Key Users) within your team.
You will work within a dynamic and versatile team where expertise and quality are central.
What you do
- Advising & Directing: You advise on changes in business operations and their impact on the logistics center.
- Process Optimization: You are responsible for setting up processes in SAP and translating material logistics policy into workable practical models.
- Quality Assurance: You monitor whether logistics processes comply with current regulations and proactively propose improvements.
- Connecting: You are the link between the logistics center and process managers of the healthcare organization and the supporting staff.
What they ask
- Education: You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree and can demonstrate this with relevant work experience within the material logistics domain.
- Experience: You have extensive experience in the operations of a government organization. You are an expert in using ERP M&F systems within the chain and system logistics domain. Additionally, you have experience with process management.
- Knowledge: You have in-depth knowledge of material logistics processes, including Process Model Management (PMM) and Assortment-Based Working (AGW).
- Skills: You are strong in writing advice and policy documents. You speak fluent Dutch and can manage reasonably in English.
- Competencies: You are an analytical thinker, decisive, and a connector. You dare to express your opinion (assertiveness) and are able to influence others.
- Personality: You are a go-getter with a solution-oriented mindset. You are accurate, integer, and possess the 'courage' to make decisions when necessary.
