Integrity Researcher

The research department conducts integrity investigations. You will carry out these investigations as a member or chairman of an investigation committee. This may involve person-oriented investigations into suspected integrity violations, investigations into suspected abuses, or non-person-oriented investigations such as learning and culture studies.

What you will do.

• Discuss with advisors whether reports contain sufficient concrete facts and circumstances to warrant an investigation.
• Based on information gathered during an orientation phase, weigh and assess whether an investigation is justified.
• If justified: draw up an investigation assignment for the client and assemble an investigation committee.
• If not justified: provide advisors with the right arguments for an alternative solution.
• Document the research results in a report and discuss this with the client.
• Contribute to broadening knowledge and professionalizing colleagues in the field of integrity and research, including through working groups and presentations.

What they ask

• Academic working and/or thinking level, for example in social sciences (psychology, criminology) or law.
• For military personnel: a successfully completed MDV.
• Professional knowledge of research techniques, particularly in the field of integrity or complaint procedures, or demonstrable experience in quickly acquiring these skills.
• Ability to advise objectively and impartially.
• Accurate, results-oriented, analytically minded, and capable of conceptual thinking.
• Communicatively skilled, organizationally sensitive, and able to conduct constructive conversations.
