Youth Policy Advisor

You will have the opportunity to work as a Youth Policy Advisor on interim assignments that match your experience, ambition, and development direction. You will be employed or work on a project contract basis. From this foundation, you will be deployed on assignments within the social domain.

Public organizations face major challenges within the youth domain. Think of reforms in youth care, regional cooperation, cost control, waiting lists, feasibility, and administrative choices. As a Youth Policy Advisor, you help ensure that policy is not only well-documented but also workable in practice.
What you do
As a Youth Policy Advisor, you will work on assignments at public organizations. Depending on your experience, you can be deployed for policy development, implementation, regional cooperation, project-based assignments, or broader issues within the social domain. You will navigate between policy, implementation, management, administration, and cooperation partners. You help to reduce complex youth issues to clear choices, concrete actions, and implementable policy.

- Translate national developments into local policy
- Participate in change and implementation processes
- Connect policy, implementation, and regional agreements
- Identify social developments, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Work on projects and programs within the social domain

- Contribute ideas on feasibility for professionals, young people
- Reduce complex issues to clear actions and choices

- HBO or university level of work and thinking
- Experience or strong affinity with Youth, Youth Care, or the social domain
- Experience within a public or social organization is a must
- Interest in policy development, implementation, and social issues
- Political-administrative sensitivity, or the ambition to develop further in this area
- Good advisory and writing skills
- The ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- The motivation to further develop yourself within the public domain
Practical
You will be deployed on a secondment basis: on a project contract or in permanent employment. This offers variety in assignments with the security and guidance of a committed employer. Employment conditions include:
- Attractive salary in accordance with the client's collective labor agreement, depending on your education and experience
