SKJ Youth Worker

This care organization is looking for a care professional with an affinity for youth, technology, and motorsport. Experience in metal and engine technology is not required. The organization provides individual and outpatient guidance to young people and adults with ASD and other challenges. A vehicle is used as a means to facilitate development. Equality, enthusiasm, and enjoyment are essential in working with our participants.

What you will do.

• You provide individual guidance to young people between 13 and 21 years old, who have often struggled in their regular school trajectory.
• You work with a team of care professionals and technically and creatively trained colleagues.
• You deliver tailor-made support and seek what motivates young people and where their qualities lie.
• You set up and follow up on the care process.
• You conduct intakes, write guidance plans, and evaluate them with all involved parties.
• You also keep an eye on the participants' indications.
• In this role, you are an important pivot in the participant's network, maintaining contact with parents/guardians, school, and municipalities.
• You also contribute to improving care and enjoy setting up new activities for participants.

What they ask

• HBO-level qualification with SKJ registration (a requirement).
• Several years of experience in youth care.
• Enjoy and find it challenging to set out guidelines and monitor the quality of care within a small care organization.
• Knowledge of the social map and affinity with youth care laws and regulations.
• A team player, creative, and easily connects with young people.
• Able to work structured and inspire and motivate others (colleagues and participants).
• A healthy dose of humor.
• Enjoy tinkering and have an interest in motorcycles and technology (no need to be a pro).
