A national socio-cultural organization develops cultural, educational, and meeting opportunities for and with people over 60. They are looking for an enthusiastic teacher / learning coach to support their educational activities. As a learning coach, you will develop and guide learning activities for older adults, with an emphasis on promoting digital literacy and health among this target group. Your work area includes the provinces of Antwerp, Limburg, and Flemish Brabant.
What you will do.
- You identify the learning needs of the elderly target group
- You annually compile an educational offer for local branches
- You negotiate the subcontracting of learning activities
- You develop and provide training, courses, and introductions on digital media and other topics to an older audience in local branches
- You develop and guide training for volunteers
- You develop and guide webinars
- You handle the administrative processing of training activities, contact and agreements with the local organizer, and take care of the material and didactic equipment
- You participate in national activities and internal consultations
Profile
- You have a bachelor's degree in socio-cultural work or an education degree
- Experience in socio-cultural work or education is a plus, but not a requirement
- You can work with common Office suites
- You have a strong affinity with digital media and digital applications
- You are socially engaged, feel at home in the socio-cultural sector, and have an affinity with the senior target group
- You are socially skilled, can express yourself well orally, can speak in public, and have good writing skills
- You are willing to travel very regularly with the service vehicle
- You are in possession of a B driving license
