What you do
- Guide patients in reshaping their lives
- Assist in learning social and practical skills
- Support the development of structure and stability
- Be the daily point of contact for patients, ensuring they feel heard and understood
- Observe behavior and provide guidance
- Support patients in developing self-insight and self-confidence
- Collaborate with therapists to establish treatment plans and work purposefully on patients' personal goals
- Remain alert to changes in behavior and play an active role in signaling and reporting developments
- Be part of a close-knit team where collaboration and professional development are central
What they ask
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree relevant to the field, for example in Social Work, (Applied) Psychology, Nursing, Criminology
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience and demonstrable affinity with the target group
- Able to build functional, treatment-oriented relationships with forensic psychiatric patients
- Sense of proportion and the balance between distance and proximity
- Team player capable of contributing to the professional development of the team
