You guide residents in their daily lives and support them where needed. Aging brings new challenges, such as physical decline, loss, or an increased need for structure. You help residents feel safe, seen, and comfortable. The work is experience-oriented, meaning you look beyond behavior alone. You pay attention to body language, facial expressions, and small changes to understand what the resident is trying to communicate and what they need.
What you will do.
- Guide residents in their daily structure, self-reliance, and social contacts
- Support with ADL care (no hoist is used)
- Provide calm, overview, and safety, even if a resident feels insecure or sad
- Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and therapists to coordinate guidance effectively
- Contribute ideas on how to continuously improve care and teamwork
- Work all shifts: morning, evening, sleeping, and weekend shifts
Aggression does not play a major role in this location. The emphasis is on proximity, attention, and appropriate guidance.

- A completed MBO level 3 or 4 education, for example MMZ, SPW, or a comparable care education

- You are patient, involved, and able to provide clarity when needed
