A government organization is looking for a temporary spatial planning policy officer who will act as a connecting link between the organization and initiators in the spatial domain. You will be responsible for guiding and assessing spatial procedures, from the initial stage of ideas to the adoption of plans. You will consult with residents, businesses, and farmers, and collaborate with internal specialists and external organizations.
What you will do.
- Guide extensive spatial procedures from initiation to adoption.
- Assess and advise on new initiatives.
- Represent the organization to residents, entrepreneurs, and collaboration partners.
- Draft spatial justifications, visions, and advice for the college of mayor and aldermen and the municipal council.
- Handle legal issues in the field of spatial planning.
- Maintain contacts with initiators, colleagues, and other stakeholders inside and outside the organization.

What they ask
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the past 6 years with spatial procedures such as assessing and/or guiding principle requests, BOPA's, environmental plans, and other spatial plans and procedures.
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience in the past 6 years at a government organization.
Preferences.
- Demonstrably completed education at WO master level in Spatial Planning or a similar field.
- Demonstrable work experience with communication towards residents, entrepreneurs, and collaboration partners.
- Demonstrable work experience with studies focused on nitrogen.
- Demonstrable work experience with housing developments and the development of industrial areas.
- Demonstrable work experience with drafting advice for decision-making at government institutions.
