You directly contribute to safety by providing intelligence to colleagues on the street and in investigations.
- You work in a control room where reports are received 24/7.
- You provide support for reports that require extra attention.
- Time pressure plays a major role in many incidents.
What you will do.
- You process reports and provide support during large-scale operations and events.
- You use various systems, data, and your own knowledge to interpret information and create intelligence.
- You distinguish between main and side issues to share only essential information.
- You work with multiple systems and sources (audio, visual, textual) of a government organization.
- You utilize open source intelligence (OSINT) such as social media.
- You work with Sensing components such as ANPR cameras and camera footage from drones.
- You search systems for information about those involved, possible scenarios, and known networks during incidents.
- You refine summary information, such as part of a license plate or a suspect's description.
- You work in rotating shifts (early, late, and night).

- You are curious and have a strong social orientation.
- You can distinguish between main and side issues and identify patterns and connections.
- You work towards interpretation, prediction, and advice in real-time situations.
- You set priorities and can switch quickly.
- You are proficient in working with computer systems for quick searching and filtering.
- You ask probing questions when necessary and provide context to found information.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment with many sounds and movements.
What they ask
- A havo or vwo diploma, or mbo 3 working and thinking level.
- Dutch nationality.
- Successful completion of a mandatory assessment.
- Successful completion of an internal training program.
Practical
- There is room for 1 FTE.
- A 14-week training at an educational institution for specific deployment.
- After the training, a temporary appointment with a one-year probationary period will be offered, followed by a permanent appointment.
