Trainer Advisor

A knowledge institute for language development is looking for a trainer-advisor. The organization is a project organization focused on research, training, policy support, and the development of educational materials for Dutch as a first and second language. The vision is that language is learned before, through, and with practice. The target group includes young people and adults, both practically and theoretically educated, Dutch speakers and non-Dutch speakers.

What you will do.

• You will work on training courses and various projects in regular education.
• You will train teachers and support teams and coordinators in developing and implementing language policy.
• You will sometimes work on teaching materials and conduct practice-oriented research.
• You will act as an executor in projects and will have the opportunity to develop into a project leader.

• Experience in developing and providing training for teachers.
• Knowledge and skills for conducting (practice-oriented) research and/or material development.
• Experience (or affinity) with acquiring different types of assignments and an own network among schools, policymakers, researchers.
• A relevant academic education, for example, a master's in NT2 & multilingualism or educational sciences with a specialization in language.
• Excellent social, oral, and written skills.
