An experienced Strategic Senior Project Manager / Consultant is sought for an organization within the energy sector to contribute to accelerating the energy transition and the development of future-proof new construction. In this assignment, you will work on developing a central service point where municipalities can go with questions about the energy system and new construction possibilities.
You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach and bring together various disciplines, stakeholders, and areas of expertise to arrive at concrete solutions.
What you do
- Set up and further develop a central service point for municipalities with questions about the energy system and new construction.
- Develop a clear vision and approach for providing actionable perspectives on new construction.
- Translate strategic concepts into concrete objectives, activities, and results.
- Coordinate the development of necessary tooling in collaboration with Energy Transition and Asset Management experts.
- Connect different departments, disciplines, and processes within the organization.
- Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders and external cooperation partners.
- Initiate and guide strategic and tactical projects.
- Inventory issues and gather relevant knowledge and expertise.
- Respond to changing needs from municipalities and the environment.
- Monitor progress, quality, and coherence within the various project components.
- Proactively identify opportunities, bottlenecks, and dependencies and anticipate them.
Your profile. You are a senior project manager or consultant with extensive experience at a strategic and tactical level. You are independent, proactive, and able to translate complex issues into concrete solutions and results.
- University-level education and thinking, for example, in Industrial Engineering, Public Administration, Energy Science, or a comparable field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with strategic and tactical projects and activities.
- Experience with developing concepts and translating them into concrete objectives and activities.
- Strong self-starting ability and experience with independently initiating activities.
- Experience with stakeholder management and collaboration between different disciplines.
- The ability to connect departments, processes, and substantive issues.
- Affinity with the energy transition, energy systems, and spatial developments.
