We are seeking a hands-on finance professional to provide broad coverage across the finance function and support day-to-day financial operations.
- The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys being involved in operational finance activities, supporting colleagues, improving processes, and acting as a trusted point of contact across the organization.

What you do
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations
- Manage AP approval workflows
- Execute and oversee cash payment runs and bank releases
- Support month-end closing activities
- Prepare and review journal postings
- Review financial transactions and ensure accuracy
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Manage quarterly compliance reporting requirements
- Provide backup support for multilingual invoicing activities
- Support Accounts Receivable activities when required
- Coach and support junior team members
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
- Assist with data uploads, workflow approvals, and finance system optimisation
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve operational finance matters
- Take ownership of tasks outside of the core role where required
What they ask
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Approximately 4-5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting
- Proven experience with VAT returns and compliance activities
- Solid exposure to Accounts Payable, payment runs, and financial operations
- Good understanding of Accounts Receivable processes
- Previous coaching or mentoring experience is advantageous
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking initiative
- Technology-savvy with an interest in automation and process improvement
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent Dutch is essential
- Professional English language skills

- Experience working with Exact Online
- Experience in modern, highly automated finance environments
- Exposure to finance transformation, workflow optimisation, or process improvement projects
- Strong operational finance background with broad accounting exposure
