Therapist Systemic Therapy and or IFS

A specialized mental health institution offers intensive and recovery-oriented specialized mental healthcare to adults with severe psychological complaints who have become stuck in previous treatment trajectories.

  • The trajectories are intensive, multidisciplinary, group-oriented, and systemic, combining thinking, feeling, and doing.
  • The goal is to increase resilience and to meaningfully resume life with more confidence.

What you will do.

  • Provide content-related direction for multidisciplinary change trajectories.
  • Monitor indication, coherence, progress, and quality.
  • Maintain direct contact with participants, their relatives, and therapists.
  • Contribute to introductory meetings, recovery-oriented intakes (HOI), systemic recovery-oriented intakes (S-HOI), recovery-oriented plans (HOP), and evaluations (HOE's).
  • Ensure a coherent picture of the participant and the factors that maintain rigid patterns.
  • Align psychotherapy, art therapy, group therapy, recovery support, and other modules in terms of content.
  • Treat participants individually and, where appropriate, together with their relatives.
  • Assess whether systemic therapy and/or Internal Family Systems (IFS) can contribute to breaking stuck patterns.
  • Support colleagues with complex treatment-related and systemic questions.
  • Contribute to intervision, professional development, and the further development of the working method.

What they ask

  • BIG-registered as a healthcare psychologist, psychotherapist, clinical psychologist, mental health nurse specialist, or psychiatrist.
  • Able to function as a lead therapist according to the quality statute.
  • Experience with complex psychiatric problems, relational trauma, and stalled treatment trajectories.
  • Eager to work intensively, multidisciplinarily, group-oriented, and systemically.
  • Actively and carefully involve relatives in the treatment.
  • Remain curious to investigate what is needed when change stagnates.
  • Take responsibility and allow space for the participant's autonomy and freedom of choice.
  • Want to contribute to an open and learning organization.

Wishes.

  • Training and experience in systemic therapy and/or IFS are welcome, but not a prerequisite.
  • Willingness to follow appropriate training in systemic therapy and/or IFS within the institution.
  • Registration as a systemic therapist in the quality register of the NVRG and/or the IFS-institute is a plus.
