For a circular water chain and clean surface water, you will work on plans that improve purification and directly contribute to water quality. The role involves shaping structural planning between municipalities and a water management organization. You bring parties together, create a shared understanding of future developments, and translate this into joint, executable plans for sewerage, wastewater transport, and wastewater treatment.
What you do
- Develop integrated plans for sewerage, wastewater transport, and wastewater treatment, including agreements on responsibilities, planning, investments, and implementation.
- Organize structured information exchange with municipalities on housing construction, population growth, spatial developments, and system capacity.
- Prepare wastewater forecasts and timely identify future bottlenecks and risks in the wastewater system.
- Conduct analyses and variant studies, and translate the results into supported proposals.
- Ensure that water interests are involved early in municipal environmental visions and spatial developments.
- Translate the vision and policy frameworks into executable plans, considering societal challenges such as climate adaptation, energy, circularity, and water quality.
- Contribute to integrated visions, including a master plan for purification and scenario studies for future developments.
- Represent the water management organization in regional consultation tables and maintain an active network.

- Knowledge of purification technology, circular economy, energy transition, climate adaptation, and/or water quality policy is a plus.
