Ambulant Youth Care Worker Day Treatment Family Counselor

• You focus ambulant pedagogical family guidance on parents of children aged 0-7 who experience problems in interaction with and the upbringing of their child(ren).
• You work with children who attend a day treatment group and have (impending) behavioral and/or developmental problems.
• You collaborate intensively with the youth care workers of the group.
• Guidance/treatment is usually provided at the family's home.
• On average, there is one guidance contact per week.
• You regularly use video recordings.
• You collaborate with neighborhood teams and/or other chain partners.
• The goal of the treatment is to restore the balance between developmental tasks and skills in both parent(s) and children, so that they can function as competently as possible in daily life.

• You are independent, flexible, and have a creative ability to think about providing customized solutions.

What they ask

• A higher professional education (HBO) diploma (Social Work, MWD, SPH, or Pedagogy).
• An SKJ registration.
• Preferably several years of experience with coaching/guidance and knowledge of young child development.

• You are part of a multidisciplinary team of a day treatment center.
• The team consists of approximately 40 youth care workers and 4 behavioral scientists. Additionally, a physiotherapist and a speech therapist are associated with the location, and there is 1 group in collaboration with a public educational institution.
• You receive professional guidance from the behavioral scientist and, if necessary, from your area manager.
• You will be assigned a buddy from your team for onboarding.
• There is an opportunity for additional coaching and/or supervision through an internal program.
• A training budget is available, and professional training courses accredited by SKJ are offered.
